Request Assistance

This program offers support to individual families. Like our clients, no two grants are ever alike.  We understand that cancer has an effect on every member of the family. When crafting a grant, we consider the patient and the needs of the family.

Financial assistance provided by American Childrens Cancer Benevolence Fund, administered by A Warriors Mission, Inc. is made possible because of generous donors.  It is imperative that these funds be available for families and individuals.

When our client's financial burdens are lessened, they experience less stress and have more focus on their healing journey.  Request an application for assistance here.

Benevolence Request Process

After a careful and through assessment of the client's needs, we tailor an individual grant that will best serve the needs of the client.

We provide financial support to families whose child has cancer and cancer survivors within 4 years of remission.

Our grant program is a direct pay program.  If your benevolence request is approved, payment will be made directly to the product/service provider on your behalf based on the information you provide in the application form.  Normally, these needs are defined as:

Housing Needs / Living Expenses, Utilities, Food, Medical expenses and/or treatment, including prescriptions, Funeral expenses, Transportation to or from a place of medical treatment, Lodging while at a distant medical facility

Approval of benevolence requests is determined on a case-by-case basis, dependent upon the current funds available, and the information provided on the Benevolence Request Application.

Benevolence requests are reviewed upon a first come, first serve basis. When you fill out the Benevolence Request Application and submit the additional required documents, your information will be sent to the benevolence committee. The review process can take up to 12 weeks.

Upon review of your request, the benevolence committee may contact you by phone, mail, or they may email you with the outcome of your request. We will do our best to use your preferred method of communication as noted in your application.

If your benevolence request is approved, payment will be made directly to the product/service provider on your behalf based on the information you provide in the form. If we are not able to approve your request, we will provide you with an explanation and may refer you to other assistance resources that may be suitable to your needs.
